What to Expect: Care Process, Cost, and Location

Care at Wander Well Acupuncture is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in East Asian medicine. This offers an overview of how we work together, including session options, fees, and payment, so you can decide whether this approach feels supportive for you.

A therapy or massage room featuring a massage table with a roll pillow, white cabinets on either side with books, decorative objects, and supplies, a wooden dresser with small storage containers, a digital clock, and framed floral artwork on the wall, illuminated by wall-mounted lamps.
A waiting room with four black chairs with wooden armrests lined up along the right wall, a tall standing lamp with a paper shade near a window, two dark wooden cabinets behind a water cooler, and traditional Asian hanging scroll paintings on the wall.

Location

Located halfway between Lexington Center and I-95/128, Wander Well Acupuncture is tucked away in an office building off of Bedford St. It is also adjacent to the Minuteman Bike Path.

The building has ample parking in the rear.

When arriving by car, look for a small road in between 238 Bedford St and 240 Bedford St. Pull down this driveway and our building is on the left. The ramp at the back of the building will take you to the door. Follow the signs for Wander Well Acupuncture and Suite 1.

Payment and reimbursement

Wander Well Acupuncture is a private pay practice. Insurance is not billed directly.

Some insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement for acupuncture services. When applicable, a superbill is available upon request for you to submit to your insurance provider. Reimbursement depends on your individual plan and is not guaranteed.

HSA and FSA

Many patients choose to use HSA or FSA funds for acupuncture services. Please check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility.

Appointment Types & Cost

Your care begins with an online intake completed prior to your in-person visit. This allows us to review your history and prepare for treatment. This service is often not reimbursed by insurance.

*If you are seeking care exclusively for pregnancy-related concerns, you may begin with an in-person appointment and do not need an online intake.

Follow up visits include treatment and a personalized East Asian medicine care plan. Depending on your needs, this may include:

  • East Asian medicine diagnosis

  • Supplement recommendations

  • Diet and lifestyle guidance to support your individual pattern

Integrated Sessions

A personalized session that may include acupuncture, bodywork, and energy work. During Integrated Sessions, I remain in the room for the duration of your appointment.

Pregnancy Acupuncture Sessions

New patients seeking care exclusively for pregnancy-related concerns may begin here without completing a separate virtual intake. Care is individualized to your stage of pregnancy, symptoms, and goals, with plenty of time for questions and support along the way.
