Heather has immersed herself in practice and studies far beyond the already intense requirements of the typical acupuncturist. Her entire universe revolves around healing. She graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest and most recognized acupuncture school in the US. Her studies included Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Style Acupuncture, and Japanese Style Acupuncture. Japanese Style Acupuncture, while incredibly gentle, is known for promoting changes within the body at the very deepest level. It is a type of medicine that is complicated and nuanced; only the most dedicated and passionate practitioners gravitate toward this path. Heather has received training from the top experts in this field, including Cameron Bishop and Kiiko Matsumoto, who is known world-wide for the power and efficacy of her techniques. She has also had extensive training with world renowned masters of reiki, including Hyakuten Inamoto, John Harvey Grey, and William Lee Rand. The combination of training in acupuncture and energy work brings her sessions to an entirely new level; it is like nothing you have experienced before.

Heather had her own four year fertility struggle due to endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. This gives her a profound awareness of what you are going through. She understands the sense of being completely alone in the struggle, and understand the psychological toll that many experience. She has ridden that hormonal roller-coaster and knows just how irksome it is when someone tells you to “just relax”. She gets it. This is why she is more than just a medical professional; she is also your cheerleader, your guide, and your comrade in arms, when it comes to your fertility journey. From the moment you enter her office, you will be struck by the power of her compassion and wisdom. And when you leave her office, it will be with a renewed sense of power and control over your life and your health.

Heather also has a gift for resolving and managing all types of pain conditions, from endometriosis to chronic low back pain. She has had extensive orthopedic training, and has taught anatomy, physiology, and pathology. In addition, her background as a massage therapist has provided her with the tools to give treatments that are powerful and effective. She incorporates cupping, guasha, and dry needling to enhance the effects of these treatments, and clients rave about her ability to provide deep and long-lasting relief for pain.
